Westerners think emotion should be spread around. As if it were a type of margarine.

This was my first play to be produced by a professional company. The Citizen’s Theatre in Glasgow staged the play in 1993. It was the first of the run of plays I did set in a fictional middle European town in the aftermath of communism.
